Warminster, PA, May 2007– Tescor, Inc. has provided a human performance environmental room containing specialized altitude training equipment for The Sport City Project in Doha, Qatar. The room features a large 6’ (W) x 4’(H) observation window along one wall and a Data Acquisition System to monitor the altitude equipment as well as measure the temperature and humidity during training sessions.

Although Tescor has built dozens of human performance environmental rooms, this is the first time Tescor has partnered with the preeminent U.S. altitude simulation company to provide high-altitude capacity in the training of athletes. Tescor’s Project Manager, Brian Wurtz, stated, “This specialized Mountain Room System includes a CO2 Scrubber, Intake Selector and Data-logging software that interfaces with Tescor’s Data Acquisition System to precisely monitor the conditions under which the athletes train.”

Mr. Youssef El Habbab, Tescor’s Installation Technician who is fluent in Arabic, will supervise the installation and act as liaison between the Sport City Project and a Qatari construction and engineering firm whose local workers are constructing the room at the site in the Orthopedic Hospital in Doha.

Tescor offers complete turn-key installation of all its Environmental Equipment as well as formal training of the customer’s technical personnel in the use and maintenance of the room and its associated equipment.
