MANUFACTURES 6,000 scfm HEAVY-DUTY EXHAUST EMISSIONS DILUTION
AIR SUPPLY SYSTEM FOR ILLINOIS DESIGN FIRM
Warminster, PA, October 2001-- Tescor, Inc. recently provided a Dilution Air Supply System to a major Automotive Design Company in Burr Ridge, Illinois, to test emissions of heavy-duty Diesel engines. The Dilution Air Supply System consists of a rigid steel support frame, single-stage inlet air filter, direct drive blower with high efficiency motor and variable speed drive, direct expansion coil for air-cooling and dehumidification, a direct expansion refrigeration system with water-cooled condenser(s), a multi-stage electric heater section, and a connector duct to a three-stage filter box which provides the following features: ACU-6000 Main unit, Filter Box, Control Panel for wall mounting Inlet Air Conditions: Summer: 91 F / 74 F, Winter: -4 F Performance Specifications for the Dilution Air Supply System:Dry Bulb Temp: 68 to 86 F +/- 0.5F Dew Point Temperature: Less than 50F, Supply Air Pressure: 0" W.C. +/- 0.1" Note: Air Dew point temp is not actively controlled. DX coil is set up to provide air that is less than 50F saturated. Filter box is constructed with Arrosio framework, including Cameron Environmental (or equal) carbon filter followed by a 30% efficient 2" pleated filter. 95% HEPA filter (Tri-Dim or equal) will be last. A differential pressure gauge (Dwyer) is provided around each filter to indicate clogged filter. PID
